Abby is a freelance lighting designer based in New York City. She is also the Lighting Supervisor for Ailey II.

A native of Tampa, Florida, Abby found lighting in the 10th grade. She designed followspots on a production of A Chorus Line, and everything changed. The next year, Abby applied to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and graduated with a BFA in Lighting Design and Technology in 2017.

In 2016, Abby had her first exposure to New York with Arc3design, where she grew to love dance and the event world. Her focus shifted to include these and her experience now spans dance, musical theatre, plays, events, and opera. She moved to New York City in May of 2017 and has been in love with it ever since.

When Abby is not in the theatre, you can find her close to the nearest swimming pool or beach, traveling, or just relaxing with a good book.
